Chrome Plugins Site

Chrome Plugins has been launched under the tagline: Source of Plugins, Themes, Add-ons and information for the Google Chrome Web Browser. I found the site while looking for news on Google Chrome and saw a reference to this posting: Google Says: You can’t use Chrome Stuff!

As I say, strangely enough, this led me to a long and satisfying browse on what I vote to be one of the most promising resources for users of Google’s browser to date. Here are some postings that you can already find on the site:
- Bookmarklets to search selected text using Google Chrome
- A bookmarklet to split the Chrome window into dual view allowing comparisons between websites to be made easily
- A comprehensive listing of command line switches for those who want to delve deeper into the workings of the beta browser
- A series of bookmarklets to emulate the Google Toolbar functions in Chrome, functions that are sorely missed by many potential converts to the new broswer and a strange omission on the part of Google itself
- And a highly active Forum where many expert users are pitching in.
runner is obsessed with computers, lives on the Web, loves all things Google and has eyes that sparkle in Chrome's reflection.

Google chrome today is the best thing in the browsing arena. Internet explorer is gradually fading from the people’s mind, (at least mine), the smoothness of google chrome is just commendable. It is clear that IE just can’t stand against chrome.
